BAE-ADR is a partner with the Consortium and has participated in a number of data acquisition projects for northeastern PA as part our GIS watershed plan.  The Consortium is currently negotiating with BAE-ADR for two SOCET SETS for use in our research, training, education, and outreach programs.

SOCET SET® - short for Softcopy Exploitation Tools - has an impeccable pedigree: its roots lie in Uki Helava's work as early as the 1970s and it blossomed in response to major U.S. government projects at the beginning of the 1980s. The commercial off-the-shelf version appeared in 1990. All photogrammetric processes are available: triangulation, orientation, feature collection, digital terrain models (DTMs), orthophotos, mosaics, flythroughs, and more. SOCET SET works with scanned film imagery, airborne digital imagery or a whole image of satellite data.
